Privacy Policy

Our website is hosted on Blogger which has its own privacy and cookies policy. They provide us with the online platform which enables us to provide blog articles for you.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including but not limited to Etsy,  GmailPrivy or MailChimp and Mailerlite. You can reference their individual privacy policies at the links provided. These third parties help provide our services to you. Examples of these functions include website creation and hosting, email, providing, marketing assistance and data analysis, data management, handling credit card transactions, and providing customer service. In choosing to work with any such third parties, we will always ensure that the security policies and confidentiality arrangements of those third parties adhere to the same requirements we ourselves impose and expect, as a minimum. No ownership rights to the data will be transferred to any third party.

 In additions to this, we only use cookies to log visits to the website in an anonymous form (via Google Analytics).

~Google Analytics

We track usage on www.ohvello.com via Google Analytics. The analytics.js JavaScript library is part of Google’s Universal Analytics offering and uses first-party cookies to distinguish unique users and to throttle the request rate. To collect general information on how visitors use our site i.e. the number of visitors, where visitors have come from, the pages they previously visited, etc. The cookies collect information in an anonymous form, and no personal information is recorded. Information I Collect and How I Use It

If you contact us, sending a message via our website or a third-party website (e.g. Twitter, Facebook), you give us consent to collect and store the information that you’ve given to us. It may include your IP address, name, physical address, email address.

Any information we do hold will be kept private.

To receive my email newsletter, you must provide me with certain information, such as your name and email address. Additionally, if you choose to fill out my contact form, you must share your name and email address so I may respond to any inquiry you might have.

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my site, such as newsletter distribution and responding to inquiries via my contact form and email. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Dropbox is Privacy Shield certified.

~Object. You can object to receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them by unsubscribing from my email newsletters or contacting me. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless it is needed for legal reasons.

~Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
